This image CPL's first ever commercial sale in 1991. The shot has graced the pages of travel brochures, Tracks Magazine, N.Z. Surf Mag and naturally is the opening spread in the book PhotoCPL, in the mid 90's it was also used as a surf T photo print- fair to say this composition is OK. That all said, it's all about a magic day and an east coast ground swell that pumped for a week. Look closely and you'll see a surfer about to get smoked by the outside wave.
